A Very Real Hope

In uncertain times such as these it is vital to have hope. We look around us and see so many problems and so many reasons to be concerned and we often wonder is there any hope?
Well, yes there is but first of all we need to understand the problem. Mankind is not what it should be, we are created beings that have fallen from the perfection in which we were made. If we have children they often carry our genetic traits and we sometimes comment "he’s just like his father".
As human beings we are just like our father Adam, the first man. He disobeyed God and became a sinner and all his children are just like their father. Thus we are all sinners, those who fall short of God’s glory and perfection. The problems in our society are the result of that problem and that problem alone, but the solution happens on an individual basis.

God has made a way back called "salvation" through the man Jesus Christ. He was no ordinary man but was God in human likeness, the very son of God. Crucified by the Romans in Jerusalem two thousand years ago, His death was God himself paying the price of sin so that He could call the debt of sin paid.
Almighty God now commands all men everywhere to repent, to yield up the rule of their lives back to Him and believe in the Christ who suffered and died to pay the debt that they owe. The promise of God is eternal life for all those who do this and that the judgement of God will pass over them who believe.
And God is not far away, He comes and lives in the heart of His people in a very real and powerful way. This is what the Bible calls being "born again" and Jesus Christ said no one can see the kingdom of God without it. This is something a vast number of people through the ages have experienced and then tried to share with others.
We are those people who in this your day seek to share this salvation with you, helping you to make your peace with God and know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
